Data we collect

  • Contact details you submit via forms (name, email, message, optional audit type and subscriber estimates)
  • Correspondence related to proposals and engagements
  • Client-supplied billing and commercial documents needed to perform an audit
  • Technical logs such as IP address and basic browser data when you visit the site

We do not ask for payment card numbers through this website.

Purposes

We use personal data to respond to enquiries, prepare proposals, perform engagements, meet legal obligations, and improve site reliability. Analytics cookies run only if you accept them via the cookie banner.

Where the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO) of Hong Kong applies, we process data for the purposes stated at collection, with your consent where required, or as needed to perform a contract with you or take steps at your request before a contract.

Retention

Enquiry records are kept up to 24 months if no engagement follows. Engagement files are retained for seven years unless a longer period is required by law or the engagement letter. Website server logs are typically rotated within 90 days.

Sharing

We share data with service providers who host email or infrastructure under confidentiality obligations, and with professional advisers when required. We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

If tools or processors store data outside Hong Kong, we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable protection, including contractual safeguards with providers.

Your rights

Subject to the PDPO, you may request access to and correction of your personal data. To exercise these rights, email info@apps-automation.digital. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Hong Kong.

Security

We apply access controls to engagement files and use encrypted transport for the website. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive identifiers in the contact form.

Updates

We may revise this policy by posting changes on this page. Material changes will be reflected in the date of the posted version when updated.
